European ITF Taekwon-Do Federation was founded in 1979. at the proposition of G.M. Rhee Ki Ha 9. dan, within the ITF by European members of the ITF, with the purpose to expand and develop TKD in Europe. AETF changes the name into European ITF Taekwon-Do Federation (EITF) on its regular congress on October 2007 in Tallinn.
Definition & Aims
1.1 The European ITF Taekwon-Do-do Federation (EITF) has the status of an international, non-governmental, non-political, non-profit organization of unlimited duration, that does not recognize differences of race, religion, politics or sex, and it is affiliated to the International Taekwon-Do-do Federation (I.T.F)
1.2 The EITF is the regional organization of the International Taekwondo Federation. Each article of this constitution must be in accordance with constitution of the ITF. In the event of different interpretation rule will be used as specified by the constitution of the ITF.
1.3 Prime goal of the EITF is to promote the Korean art of self defense and modern sports known as Taekwon-Do (TKD) on the European Continent.
